Content on AmpAinsoc is coordinated by Martin Wood, editor-in-chief. He sets the editorial line, selects topics, checks facts and approves every publication. He is a recreational athlete, not a health professional; see his page.

What the editor-in-chief does

• Topic selection and consistency with the site’s scope.
• Fact-checking against published sources before publication.
• Final proofreading, correction and approval.
• Updating content whose facts change.

Medical review

There is none. No doctor, physiotherapist or dietitian reviews articles before they go live. Health content is general information and is labelled as such.

Other bylines

Some older articles are signed by other contributors from the site’s earlier years. Those articles are being re-read; they are either brought up to the current process or removed.
