This new peer-reviewed journal focuses upon pain and other symptom palliation. The editor has announced plans to include editorials, articles, case reports, correspondence, and book reports. An excellent editorial board and editors have been selected. The first issue looks very interesting with topics ranging from basic science to CAM. Those who deal with palliation and end-of-life care will want to keep an eye on this promising new journal.
Dr. Loeser is Professor of Neurological Surgery and Anesthesiology at the University of Washington in Seattle.
