Focus
Development and transmission of pain education resources and skills to professionals
Mission
To further the educational objectives of the American Pain Society by encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, transmission of teaching skills, and innovation in pain education.
Goals
- To create a forum for interprofessional communication, cooperation and collaboration.
- To promote skill acquisition and professional development in pain education.
- To facilitate the creation and dissemination of exceptional and innovative pain education resources.
- To improve access to existing pain education resources.
- To enhance the identification and understanding of effective educational methodologies.
- To foster learning and teaching in pain and pain care.
